Command. (Stabs).

Picture
During WWII, many Kampfgruppen were formed to achieve local goals as part of a much larger campaign.

The Kampfgruppen were expected to act independently and organise their own transport, supplies and battle strategies. Often the commanding Officer would tour his front lines to maintain morale amongst the troops and perform valuable reconnaissance first hand.
It was not unknown for such commanders to personally lead his troops into battle.

Kampfgruppe Stahlkrieger rely on the Stabs. section to organise events to attend and  define the look and feel of our detailed living history displays.

Our living history displays have included both the Eastern and Western theatre of operations and all the scenarios are the brainchild of the Group C.O. Martin.

Included within the Stabs. section is our Kriegsberichter (War reporter), an experienced & professional photojournalist who has been credited for his work within the national press and t.v.
