About KSK.

Picture
Kampfgruppe Stahlkrieger have won many awards for their living history displays. Gaining accolades from the general public, WW II event organisers and actual veterans alike.

As re-enactors we have also taken part in Cinema filming.
Our work includes documentaries for the History channel and the National Geographic. The Harry Enfield show and the Italian production "Nel segno di maggio". Other work has included the big screen adaptation of Owen Sheers "Resistance" & our lastest block buster film Fallen Eagle - soon to be released.

KSK are one of the premier groups in the UK re-enactment scene.
We portray elements of the elite Leibstandarte Division of the Waffen SS.
Our main portrayal is that of the Panzer Grenadiers of the 6th Kompanie - Battle hardened and experienced in the art of warfare.
Other elements include a Feldgendarmerie (Field police), Sani (Medical) unit, Kriegsberichter (War correspondent) and a  Stabs (Command) section.

We also have access to authentic vehicles of the period 1939 - 1945 which include motorcycle combinations and a 247 command car which had a prominent role in the 1977 blockbuster "A Bridge too Far".

We often work closely with other groups, both Axis and Allied at public shows and private battles. This has included photo shoots and filming for the Russian press alongside the 2nd Guard division.
Our members share a wide knowledge base of the WW II period with the emphasis on the Axis forces uniform, weapons and training.
We believe in  being as accurate as we can in order to teach the public as to how the "Landser" lived during world war 2 whilst maintaining an element of fun and Kameraderie. Additionally we often raise funds for causes such as Help for heroes and the British legion.
Comments from D-Day veterans on our display have included:  "This looks like the real thing" and "This is how I remember it".
